The Cantina Sociale di Gonzaga was founded in 1928 and now has about 150 members and produces about 1,200,000 bottles a year. Over the years the Cooperative has been provided with high-tech equipment for wine production and bottling which enables the typical characteristics of the wines offered to the consumer to be preserved, and alternative products obtained from the same grapes to also be discovered. Scrupulous attention to every phase of production has made it possible for elegant Lambrusco wines to be produced and in 2012 they were awarded organic and NOP status.
